BACK TO SCHOOL!
First time Kindergarten mom here and I’m not ready! This fall I offered these sweet back to school photos to benefit Backpack Buddies of Loudoun.
The Backpack Buddies Foundation of Loudoun, Inc. (BBFL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides financial support to the individual programs throughout Loudoun County that provide weekend food programs for students in need. Through the generosity of individuals, local groups and corporate sponsorships, we obtain and distribute funding that purchases meals, snacks and milk for the children who would otherwise go hungry at home. We also work with local partners to establish new programs where they have yet to begin, and try to raise awareness about this important issue that affects many neighbors right here in our community.
BRING HOME BODEY
Bodey is a little boy with Down Syndrome in a Chinese orphanage who needs a loving family. He has worked his way into a special place in the Mendez family’s hearts. Rachael and Edgar would love nothing more than to give their son, Nicholas (also with Down Syndrome), a lifetime of companionship with a brother. My dear friends are in the home stretch of bringing him home to Ashburn, VA. A portion of EVERY session since September has been donated towards his adoption and will continue to do so until he’s home!
THIS IS A JOB FOR….
Superhero Day benefitted Dravet Syndrome Foundation. Dravet is a rare, lifelong condition that currently has no cure and limited treatment options. It typically begins with prolonged febrile seizures in infancy and can progress to include many neurological, cognitive, developmental and behavioral complications in addition to frequent and uncontrollable seizures.
